Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Film and Television adopts programme-based admission.

Potential candidates will be invited for an interview conducted individually or in a group format. As part of the interview process, candidates are required to submit their portfolios in a single e-folder prior to the interview. These portfolios should showcase the candidates' creativity, storytelling techniques, and visual expression abilities. Candidates must grant the interview panel permission to access their portfolios. During the interview, candidates may also be asked to present and discuss their portfolios.

  Admission Criteria

For Hong Kong students taking HKDSE for admission via JUPAS, the entrance requirements are:

English Language Level 3
Chinese Language Level 3
Mathematics Level 2
Citizenship and Social Development Attained
Elective Subjects (2 subjects) Level 3  (Note)


1) The first elective must be any Category A subjects excluding Extended Part of Mathematics (Module 1 or Module 2);

2) The second elective can be any of the following subjects:

a) Category A subjects including Extended Part of Mathematics (Module 1 or Module 2);

b) Related Applied Learning subjects (with "Attained with Distinction (I)" or above) listed in the following website:

c) Other Language subjects at Grade C or above.

Other Entrance Requirements
In addition to the HKDSE results, the Programme will take into consideration of the followings:

  • High choice banding in JUPAS application is preferred;
  • Good results in Chinese Language and English Language are preferred.
